Turn a cap into a magic prop and have cards appear and change. For example, you can use it for a kind of 'card stabbing' routine where you spring the cards and catch one card in your cap. Or have one card visually change into another. To make the gimmicks requires some arts and crafts, but nothing too complicated and no supplies you wouldn't likely already have.
The separate effects are:
Not all gimmicks can be incorporated into the same cap and thus not all effects shown could be done with just one cap.
Deepak also explains a lovely linking effect...
A guide to the art of street magic.
Cellini, who was a student of Slydini, became the most celebrated and most accomplished street magic performer in the world. In this work, he explains the secrets of how to successfully present and perform magic. He has the ability to take old and dusty tricks and turn them into fresh and exciting performance art. On top, he reveals new tricks he developed himself.
Please note that this video is in Vietnamese. There are some English subtitles, but for the most part you will get the instructions of how to make the gimmick and how to perform with it from the visual contents of the video.
With this gimmick you can vanish and change a range of small items.

These are the lecture notes for a lecture Charlie Miller gave at Magic Inc. in 1967. He offers great insight into the art of magic, presentation, routining and audience management. He also teaches several great tricks.
Also included is a six page essay by Roberto Giobbi titled "Charlie Miller's Wisdom". (This essay originally appeared in two installments within my column "The Genii Session" in Genii - The Conjuror's Magazine, May and July 2005. It appears here in a slightly revised form and in agreement with Richard Kaufman and his Genii Corporation.)

Excerpt from the introduction:
There is no difficulty in the working of any trick. Dan always aims for the simplest method of producing an effect, believing that the entertainment value of a trick is its major attraction. Indeed, every trick that follows can be worked by anyone, and though some are extremely simple, I advocate that you give them all the test of a trial before passing judgment. You will then find you have ample and spacious pastures.
Performed by Randy Wakeman before random, live audiences . . . then explained and taught in full detail.
Over the 1950s, 1960's, and through the 1970's a brand of bold and direct close-up magic was developed in Chicago, Illinois. These effects were known for simplicity, clarity, and strength of effect, and the powerful response they elicited. Chicago magical legends Don Alan, "Heba Haba Al" Andrucci, "Senator" Clarke Crandall, Frank Everhart, Jack Murray, Johnny Paul, James Patrick Ryan, and Matt Schulien forged their reputations with these effects, and now you can too.
While these quick, direct, simple, baffling effects...
This is China's version of the Three Shell Game or the Three Card Monte Game. It is played with three sticks held between the fingers of one hand. One stick has a little string tied to it. The task for the spectator is to identify the stick with the string. As you can imagine this is a crooked game and the performer decides when he lets you win. This game was brought by Ching Ling Foo to America in 1899.
In addition to the PDF, you will be able to download 6 videos that demonstrate several ways to perform this con game as well as videos that show you the modus operandi.

Of particular interest are the various ideas to how to transmit information secretly.
Karrell Fox was an extremely successful magician. He was probably the first to appear at trade shows as magician and even had a touring show for Ford Motor company. His success can partly be attributed to the many characters he developed perfectly suited for different venues and occasions: 'Milky' the Clown, Prof. 'Mix-up', 'Wow' the Wizard, W. C. Fields, and 'Just Plain' Karrell.
Here you will find lots of great ideas spanning the gamut from card and mental magic to stage and platform effects. Throughout you will find many photos of Karrell Fox - a pleasant picture show of the life of a...

This is the very first publication Stephen Tucker ever released. For some this will be a good thing for others not. I personally always enjoy to see the early creations of a now famous magician.

This booklet doesn't deserve the name 'booklet', because it is packed with many wonderful effects using small objects, from cards and coins, to ropes and silks and everything in between. There is also a nice section on vesting and sleeving. Jean Hugard is one of the outstanding teachers and authors in magic. My friend Chuck has been vanishing an orange for the last forty years in much the same manner that this booklet reveals how to vanish a dinner plate. He also remembers reading of Blackstone Sr. performing some of these stunts. Whenever the author is Jean Hugard - read it!

This was Peter Duffie's first solo book published on the heels of his hugely successful Alternative Card Magic and Contemporary Card Magic.
It includes mostly card routines with a couple of coin routines sprinkled in for good measure. The effects are not difficult to do and can be classified as intermediate. Some routines require palms, half passes and riffle passes.
It is a joy if one can study the early creative output of one of the most accomplished card magician alive today.
