This booklet doesn't deserve the name 'booklet', because it is packed with many wonderful effects using small objects, from cards and coins, to ropes and silks and everything in between. There is also a nice section on vesting and sleeving. Jean Hugard is one of the outstanding teachers and authors in magic. My friend Chuck has been vanishing an orange for the last forty years in much the same manner that this booklet reveals how to vanish a dinner plate. He also remembers reading of Blackstone Sr. performing some of these stunts. Whenever the author is Jean Hugard - read it!

It is a joy if one can study the early creative output of one of the most accomplished card magician alive today.

Damn Gum

Remove a piece of gum stuck to the bottom of your shoe. Simply change it into the inner wrap of the gum package; change it again into a full, store bought pack of gum. Take out a piece of gum, eat it or give the piece to your spectator.

Borrow a bill, borrow a coin. Have the spectator sign the coin. Fold the bill in half and place the coin inside the bill. Crimp the coin inside...

Rachel and Aldo used to go on big lecture tours frequently. In 2011 they gave their final 'Farewell Tour'. With farewell they only mean farewell to big lecture tours, not farewell to magic. These are the lectures notes for a lecture Aldo gave at FISM.

Tip Top: the magician displays several cards bearing pictures of clowns, having different colored noses. A spectator selects a clown and the performer is seen to have the same colored clown nose... on his nose!

Poppy: a knot, tied in the middle of a piece of white rope, slides to one end, then the other; then change color. The different colored knot slides along the rope several times; the knot is then untied and seen to actually be a two inch section of the white rope.

A very easy, commercial and entertaining color changing knife routine in several phases. With ideas by Ken Brooke, Ascanio and Juan Tamariz. For close-up and walk around. A white knife (or any color) changes to black. You simply say that you are using TWO knives so you produce a white one. The two knives change places a few times and at the end everything can be examined (obviously you have to bring your own knives)!
