To the average magician, a Change bag is a device like a collection bag, that changes a couple of silks, ribbons, rope or other similar items. Well, there are several varieties of those, with short handles for one hand operation, and longer ones for two hand operation, with single and double compartments (for a double change), with zippers to poke your hand through - Sam Dalal has made over a dozen varieties of this for his Magic service. But there are many other types of "change bags" like draw string bags and ladies' purses, paper "pop bags", mesh shopping bags and crystal clear bags, some...

This is a wonderful collection of some of Charlie Miller's signature pieces with photos showing Charlie Miller performing the moves and routines.
From the introduction by Theo Bamberg (Okito):
I consider Charlie's technique not only original, subtle and entertaining, but above all, highly commercial. In this respect, he is in the tradition of the Old Masters, whose skill could be appreciated by the connoisseur, but who used that skill to keep their audiences highly entertained.

Plus, Mardo tips a trio of coin effects that use standard coins and a modicum of sleights to accomplish the magic. And a swell card flourish that was later featured in the movie "The Sting," starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford.

From the preface:
Self-working magic, if you won't hold the pun against me, is a tricky thing.
Some will tell you, as I will, that there is no such thing as truly self-working magic. That is true. Every trick, regardless of method, requires a presentation, a character, a flow of action to become more than a trick, to become an effect. With the proper method, it may become an effect worth doing. But in the beginning, it's just a trick.
And tricks, well, tricks can truly be self-working.
But do we really need another book of self-working tricks? Hasn't all the good stuff been done...
