For those who have been looking for the first five books that Jerry Sadowitz and Peter Duffie published through Martin Breese - there is good news. All five books have been compiled in one ebook called Card Zones. These are:
"I received Card Zones yesterday and just wanted to tell you what a beautiful piece of work it is. You've really done proud by Peter and Jerry. I love the cover, both color and illustration. The inside layout for all the tricks is...

The 'card under drink' plot was made famous by Heba Haba Al (Al Andrucci) in the 1960s. Ever since it has been a favorite of bar magicians all over the world. Here Allan teaches a version that uses a misdirective idea by John Bannon. The effect is clear and devastating. A chosen card unexpectedly ends up under a drink (glass, can, etc.).

This is a classic on card magic covering sleights, routines, special cards, and apparatus. It is very likely that already S.W. Erdnase read this book.

This is a collection of self-working and very easy card effects. Rufus Steele has released several other publications along this line. Check them out.
Excerpt from the foreword:
Tricks with a pack of cards afford one of the easiest and most interesting forms of entertainment in existence. They are amazing and mysterious to those who witness them, yet they are within the ability of everyone.
The idea that long practice and exceptional skill are necessary in the performance of card tricks is erroneous. Some of the cleverest and most bewildering tricks are made possible by the use of...

An excellent collection of sleight-less card tricks. Some require a confederate but in all cases the author provides alternative methods and presentations to eliminate the need for a confederate. Each effect is taught with an effective presentation.
1st edition 1914, PDF 32 pages

This collection of card tricks is really wonderful with very nice routines and simple effects. It is surprising that this book has not seen more attention and is hardly known. Take a look. You will be surprised. One of those hidden gems. It has been described by others as a "minor classic".
This ebook covers both the first and expanded third edition.

Before moving to the US, Aldo Colombini wrote several books in Italian. These books contain tricks and routines that have never been published in English. So, we decided to gradually make these works available in English. As friends of the late Aldo, we believe that none of his wonderful creations should be lost. This is the first translation. If there is a good reception, we will continue this work.
From the introduction
The Tenkai Turn Over has been only sparingly used in modern card magic (at least as far as I know). It is a secret move that allows you to perform the effect known...

From the Foreword:
Sometimes the most simple tricks are the most effective. The card tricks here described are all simple in principle. I trust you will find them entertaining and effective.

This is another fantastic compilation of card tricks that require no sleight-of-hand. Rufus Steele writes "The simplicity of a card trick adds much to its mystery!" - I couldn't agree more. In total there are 51 tricks explained.

As a purser for a French airline flying from his home base in Tahiti, to Sydney to Los Angeles, our author, Jean Fare, keeps up on everything in card and close up magic. He gets to the Magic Castle just often enough to keep from missing anything. Several times a year he uses his airline privileges to get back to Paris to make sure "French Style" in magic is moving right ahead.
You will enjoy Jean's ebook. He has carefully described his own handling on a number of excellent tricks. They include:

Twelve new card routines - all using a regular deck.

Variety assortment of card routines of all kinds - self-working, sleight-of-hand, quickies, classics.

Learn how to entertain and Mystify with baffling card tricks!

If you think packet card effects are "hot", but some of your audience don't, you should read this book. Many very good packet card effects do not find favor with some audiences. Kids don't understand playing cards. Teenagers of the fairer sex just don't "dig" card tricks (or most magic tricks for that matter). Many ladies will hide a polite yawn. As will some gentlemen when preoccupied with more "spiritual" pastimes.
But a slight twist in the tale could change their perception. And this is what this manuscript aims at. Here are your (and my) favorite packet tricks, "dressed to please"....

This is a collection of three similar but distinct publications by Si Stebbins, explaining his famous card stack and various tricks one can do with it. These three are reproduced in facsimile but made searchable with added bookmarks for easier navigation.
The first one has the title "Si and Mary Stebbins" and opens with a wonderful photo of Si and his wife Mary, original Barnum & Bailey Rube. It was printed by Press of Rex Printing House in Philadelphia. No publishing date is given but must be after 1913*. It features the system, rules, and 10 tricks followed by an additional section on Pinochle,...

Here is a historical ad from the Charles T. Powner Co. in Chicago: "This book gives, with careful and easy instructions, the newest card tricks and sleight-of-hand yet offered to professionals and amateurs. Not only does this book contain all of the new tricks, but nearly every one known is fully explained and exposed by explicit directions and carefully prepared illustrations. 160 pages, 80 fine illustrations. Price Postpaid $0.50"
I cannot offer this book at $0.50 as originally sold in 1902, but our prices are almost as good as 100 years ago prices. This book is the small version of Roterberg's famous...

There are so many versions of the Card in Wallet - yet none as unique as this one. A freely signed and selected card appears in a paper wallet that happens to be a sheet of paper openly folded into the shape of a wallet right in front of the spectator.
Forget leather wallets. Forget trick wallets. No duplicates, just plain powerful magic with a regular deck and a sheet of A4/US-letter paper that is folded into a wallet. The 'simplicity' of the wallet and the fact that the spectator checks everything themselves makes this effect mind-blowing.
Original concept by Hans Trixer and developed...
