The Red Black Divination plot is simple and perplexing, and it is one of the few effects that the more you do it, the more amazing it becomes. My method uses no peeks, shiners, or smartphones, and can be done with a borrowed deck. I created a three-part phase, each phase seeming more impossible. I also created an optional kicker that requires a setup. Once I tip the secret, you will smile. This is an effect you will do.

The spectator chooses a card and the performer prognosticates what that card is by looking at 'indicator' cards. Eventually, the 'indicator' cards are shown to be the three 'mates', matching the value of the chosen card, making four of a kind in all.

We all think we know the Si Stebbins Stack, so did I, until I dug a bit deeper. This publication describes the stack used by Si Stebbins himself and it's not the old favourite that we all know and love.

Not just a one-trick pony, a deck of cards set up in the Si Stebbins System can be used to build a complete card routine, consisting of many different card effects. Six such effects are described and explained in this text. Also included is a simple diary or planner with a named card at every date, which can be used in the "Planner Ahead" effect.

Rebirth is a fast, fiery Torn and Restored effect, which leaves them with an impossible souvenir, and a cool story to tell their friends. It also looks great on video. The gimmick is very easy to make, and there is no ditching involved.

Four hands are dealt starting with an Ace for each hand. Another three cards are dealt on top of each ace. One at a time the Aces travel to the magicians hand - your standard Ace assembly. However, in a flash the aces jump back and on top of each pack is an Ace.

There are no difficult moves in this routine, but it is a longer routine with several steps to remember.

The 'Real-Gone Aces' problem is a side branch of the classic four Ace trick. In the classic you place four aces on the table, then put three indifferent cards on each ace, and magically all aces end up in the same pile. A Card Warp effect that ends with an 'impossible' signed card with half turned face-out and the other half back-out.

Effect: A playing card is folded and then signed by a spectator. This folded and signed card is inserted between another folded card, just like in the classic Card Warp effect. Then the inside card is pushed from left to right and from right to left. First the direction of the white border of the card's back switches position. Then one half of the card turns face outward. Basically, two thought-of cards selected from a thoroughly shuffled deck are revealed by the magician. The first one is found by reading in the spectator's mind. The second one is found by spelling the name of the first card revealed, dealing one card for each letter from the top of the deck. The card at the last letter is turned over: It is the second thought-of card!

An incredible series of card assemblies, with a surprise ending.

The magician, thanks to the choices made by a spectator, succeeds for each Ace, banner of his own royal household, to associate each member with his family. A closing with a series of royal flushes and a great final surprise.

This is a new card magic effect in which the magician, after cutting the deck into four packets, in reassembling, he magically finds the four Aces. However, they represent nothing more than the banners of the four noblest houses: Diamonds, Clubs, Hearts and Spades.

The performer takes a deck of cards, lets the spectator pick a card and gives it back. The performer then takes the card, rips it into 4 pieces and slowly, one by one, the cards morph back into place as they started out even before they were ripped. At the end of the routine, the dents are visually ironed out and, in the spectators hands, is their card - perfectly normal!

This is my go-to effect. Once you have done this effect, the spectator will believe you can read their facial expressions and more.

I have gotten more incredible responses from this effect than any other. The method looks extremely fair. The only sleight, if you call this a sleight, is riffling cards off of your index finger. Learning this effect will make your magic better.
