Farelli's notes can roughly be categorized in three groups. One is attribution where he writes the inventor's name, or at least the one he thought originated this particular force. Terry wanted to be able to show a packet of cards, shuffle them and have someone just look at one and then he reproduces it. He didn't want to use marked cards or some sort of stack, but he wanted it to be sure fire. As a result he came up with Force This.

This is a dark, multi-phase routine perfect for anyone who appreciates magic with a more sinister tone.

• The participant selects and signs a card
• It is placed in their hands.
• When they turn the card over, a black pentagram has appeared on the face.

The performer shows his participant(s) a pack of blank index cards that have writing on one side (the other side is blank.) A different word, number and design are written on each card.
