Here is an astonishing ending to one of the classics of card magic - "Oil & Water". There are many ways to perform it, but Mario Tarasini has created an extremely visual final phase with face-up cards and just before the very eyes of the spectator. After a couple of your favorite phases of Oil & Water, this is an amazing way to end the routine. Just tell the spectator to not blink and she/he will witness a miracle. Requires arts and crafts to prepare the gimmicked cards.

Show five cards face down with red backs. Magically cards turn face up one by one revealing four Queens but with blue backs. For the climax, the four Queens have now entirely different backs, and the fifth card has yet another back we haven't seen before.

Effect: Show to spectator 4 blank cards. Suddenly the blank cards change into four normal face cards. Additional supplies may need to be purchased to perform this effect.

This is a very deceptive and visual 3-4-4 count, hiding one card, developed by Ed Marlo. In case you wonder who or what 'Olram' is, that is Marlo spelled backwards.

A spectator signs a playing card which you link to the stem of a borrowed wine glass. The card can be moved while it is linked to the glass. Eventually it is unlinked. Both glass and card can be inspected by the spectator before and after the linking/unlinking sequence.

With this specially gimmicked and prepared card, you are able to link it to a borrowed glass unnoticed in 3-5 seconds. The edges (which is very important for me) are completely intact and have no cracks. The card can be presented firmly linked to the glass as a souvenir.

What the video hides at the lower edge would normally be hidden behind a box, book, silk, or some other visual obstruction.

This effect is undoubtedly a fooler. The magician will be able to cut to three cards that reveal the exact position of the spectator's card. Conditions are really impossible. A true miracle with a normal deck. Always great reactions from both magicians and laypeople. Always a different number.

After the magician gives the deck a shuffle, the spectator is asked to cut the deck about in half and to take from the lower portion some cards, shuffle them, remember the top card, and put them back on top of the lower portion of the deck. Then the spectator shuffles the top portion of the deck and...

This is a move that comes originally from gambling. It is hard to do well, but Allan gives you a number of valuable tips.

You start by showing one joker and several blank cards, which are blank on both sides. Adding the joker to the blank cards makes them all become jokers on their faces. Then you do the same with the backs and end up with a pack of jokers. The blank cards have changed to jokers.

Yes, this looks impossible. You show four cards. Turn over one and the rest also magically turns over. That is just the warming-up effect. The real stunner is when you turn over the cards and suddenly three of them have big circles cut from their center and the fourth has changed color.
