This is a "Twisting the Aces" routine, here performed with the Jacks, that includes two color changes of the backs. First, they change from blue to red, and then the Jacks all have different backs.

As you can understand from the title, this is an impossible divination. The method is becoming more and more diabolical.

The effect is a classic: the spectator chooses a card, and the magician finds it. Here, however, the conditions are strict for the magician. There is seemingly no way the magician could find the card. The deck is shuffled while the performer looks away. Despite this, he will be able to find the chosen card face down. All this with a normal, borrowed, totally impromptu deck.

Learn the basics of dice stacking. You can go from zero to stacking four dice in half an hour to an hour of practicing, assuming you have good instructions and good equipment.

In this video you will receive clear step by step instructions to first master the basic back and forth sweep motion, then the dice pickup and finally the stack. You will also understand why it all works.

A spectator freely selects a card, freely cuts the deck to determine a number, and divides the deck into four packets. After multiple rounds of reassembling and cutting, the selection still arrives at the exact corresponding number. A self-working, fooling card routine.

Performance transcript:

• This is a completely impromptu effect.
• You can even borrow a deck from a spectator.
• No setup or stack is required to begin.
• Have the spectator cut roughly half the deck.
• Ask them to secretly count how many cards they cut.

This is a great move by Tony Slydini. The four aces are put back into the deck, letting them stick out by about half. Despite the fact that the aces protrude, the clever Tony steals them into a Tenkai Palm leaving four other cards protruding. How he does that you will learn in this video.

This is a fun, interesting effect, in which a free selection multiplies itself, leaving you with 3 of the same selection. It ends with a 3 card change, followed by a surprising transposition!

This is entirely clean, requires no forces, and is sure to astonish and amaze your audience.

Adapted from a classic routine by Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser. The spectator deals the cards into three piles on the table. In the end, the magician is left holding ten cards, while the tabled piles reveal four Tens. Finally, the bottom card is turned over to reveal four Kings.

This is a simple coins across that can be done with any type of coins. Ideally you want to do this with at least six or more coins. All you need to be able to do is a thumb palm.

I am very happy to present this new Spellbound routine! The main feature of this method is that it allows you to repeat the transformation again and again, creating a continuous and highly visual sequence of changes.

The method is very easy to perform and is based on one of the approaches explained in my book Giacomo Bertini's System for Amazement. I developed this handling to make the transformations practical, direct, and suitable for real close-up performances.

This is a nice routine where several times the black tens change into the red tens and then the red tens change into the black tens and it keeps changing like this several times. Performed in an off-beat manner this is a really strong effect.

A fooling card trick designed to fool magician friends. A Self-Working effect.

The spectator freely cuts off a packet, remembers the bottom card, and returns it to the middle of the deck. The magician then cuts to the middle of the deck and claims that three cuts will locate the spectator’s selection. After three consecutive cuts, none of the cards is the selection. However, the values of the three cards cut to add up to the exact position of the selection.

My card routines Triple Cut ACAAN and Three Chances ACAAN have received a great response on Lybrary, and ACAAN routines where the spectator cuts three cards and their values add up to the final position of the selection are one of my favorite types to explore. Today, I'd like to share two more ACAAN routines along the same lines.

Like the previous routines, both are very fooling to magicians, with very direct effects. Both routines also use unconventional methods, resulting in even more unique and powerful effects!

You show seven Jacks of Hearts and one Ten of Spades. By putting the Ten of Spades face-down on the face-up Jacks, all cards turn magically face-down. But the climax is still coming. Once the cards are turned face up they are now all Ten of Spades except one Jack of Hearts.
