You start with four cards that are blank on both sides. A magic gesture and they have suddenly backs and faces.

You show four cards with yellow backs. On the other side they all have green backs, meaning they are double-backer cards. Then where there were yellow backs, there are now blue backs. Then the cards turn into the four aces. Then the backs change to red backs. Eventually, each ace has a different coloured back.

A blue backed deck is removed from its case. The deck is spread and your spectators are asked to call out the names of some cards that they see. You then take the named cards and, one by one, begin to magically change their back colour from blue to red. Offering a better look at the technique you announce that you will change the back of another card...

With a gentle wave of your hand, the card begins to visibly change. The card actually appears to change as you move your hand back and forth over it! You pause halfway - the card under your hand is half blue and half...

You show four cards with red dots and four cards with yellow dots. When you touch the pack of red dots with the pack of yellow dots one of the red dot cards changes to a yellow dot card. You do this several times until all four cards you are holding have turned yellow. Suddenly they turn back to showing red dots. When you show the pack of yellow cards on the table they now all have blue dots.

Possibly the world's funniest card trick!

A spectator is asked to assist on stage with a card trick. Both he and the magician wear a paper bag blindfold over their heads as a card is attempted to be selected. Eventually a large knife is introduced into the routine that the magician intends to stab through the selected card when the spectator is instructed to toss the entire jumbo deck into the air. Everything goes wrong and the audience is in hysterics. Eventually the magician identifies the card successfully. You show four cards from their back. A magic word and two of them have turned face up, for example, two Jack of Hearts. You turn them back but suddenly two other cards, for example, two 10 of Spades. You turn these face-down and a moment later the four cards have changed into the four aces. A bewildering and fast paced change of cards.

This is a silent film of a magic show for children performed by Geoffrey Buckhurst probably from the early 1950s. Among the tricks he performs is the Zombie, Egg bag, Torn and Restored Rope, Diminishing Cards, and many other bits and pieces to entertain the kids.

This is performance only, no explanations of the tricks are provided. An interesting window into magic for children during the 1950s.

Two sets of 7 cards are shown. One pile has pictures of the logos of 7 of the most common social media platforms. The other set has the names of these platforms written in words on the cards.

Two spectators who do not know each other are invited to see whether they can connect via the same social media platform. The pile of cards with names on them are shuffled and spread face down. Spectator 1 can touch the back of any one of the cards – it is a genuinely free choice. The selection is placed aside unseen but in view.

You show four cards from the backs. Turning one face up, say the seven of hearts, will magically turn all cards face-up - they are all sevens. You turn them all back face-down. Suddenly they change to the four jacks.

You start out with four red backed Aces of Clubs, shown individually from the back and front. One of the Aces changes to a Queen of Hearts. The Queen of Hearts jumps to various places in the pack. For the climax all four cards change to the Queen of Hearts and also the backs change to blue backs. Does not use any gimmicked or gaffed cards. Can be done with jumbo cards as Paul demonstrates in the video.

Ravi's signature effect. A chosen card's corner is ripped off. The magician takes out a lighter and goes to burn the torn corner piece. The magician opens his hand to show that the corner piece has vanished. The spectator is given the lighter to examine only to find that the corner of their selected card is inside the sealed lighter. It is signed and given out as a souvenir.

A "find the lady" type of routine with four cards with several phases.
