Five Roads Together

The spectator selects a card and returns it to the deck. The spectator cuts off a packet, then the performer deals left and right. Four consecutive times the dealt cards are not the selection, yet each one precisely names an attribute of the chosen card, and after the elimination, the final remaining card is the original selection. Even more, when the four piles are turned face up, together with the selection they form a Royal Flush.
During the spectator's cut, there is no crimp and no extra handling, yet the selection and the key cards can still be located with precision.

Dice Any Number

A very direct ACAAN-style effect. The magician places a single card on the table. The spectator freely rolls two dice and chooses how to combine the numbers. A deck is brought out and shown to be all different, with no duplicates. The cards are dealt to the chosen number, and it exactly matches the prediction on the table.

Sandwich Shuffle Positioning

The spectator freely selects a card and returns it to the deck. The magician inserts two Jokers, and the spectator table-riffle shuffles and cuts the cards. The Jokers progressively close in and finally sandwich the selection. On top of that, during the shuffles the spectator also separates the deck into three piles and locates the other three cards of the same value!

Dual-Sided Tracking

The spectator freely rolls four dice. The performer deals the corresponding number of cards for each roll, forming four piles. The performer then explains that the top faces give one set of numbers and the bottom faces give another, and has the spectator turn the dice over 180 degrees. The dealing continues according to these new numbers. When all the cards are dealt, the face cards of the four piles are all Kings. The performer asks why we look at both the top and bottom of the dice - because the four piles must also be read both ways. The bottom cards are turned over to reveal four Aces. ...
Exchange Transfer

This is my Ace Assembly sequence: four Aces vanish from three packets and assemble together. In the finale, the Aces are redistributed into four piles. But it doesn't end there - if the performer can truly transpose cards at will, the four Aces can even switch places with the four Aces from another deck.

Thinking Positioning ACAAN

The spectator shuffles the deck freely, with no stack involved. The spectator first names any card, then remembers a random card. The magician has no knowledge of the remembered card. In the end, dealing to the named number reveals the spectator's selection.

Matrix Walking Prediction

A completely open prediction effect. The spectator freely selects a card from 12 cards, then moves the same number of spaces in any direction according to the card's value. The final card matches the value of the original prediction.
Next, the spectator again moves freely according to that value and selects another card with a completely different value - also matching the magician's original prediction.

3-7-J ACAAN

The spectator freely selects a card and it is returned to the deck. The cards are shuffled together. The magician says he will need three chances to locate the selection. He cuts to a 3, deals three cards, and reveals a 7. Then he deals seven cards and reveals a J. Finally, he deals eleven cards and arrives at the spectator's card.
Three cards used to find one card? Not exactly. Those three cards didn't just locate the selection - they also revealed the other three cards of the same value.

Slop Trick

The spectator selects four cards. The magician then performs a face-up/face-down Slop Shuffle, thoroughly mixing the deck. Despite the chaotic condition, the deck instantly rights itself - returning to face-down - except for the four selections, which remain face-up at four different positions in the deck.

My Sympathetic Number Trick

Adapted from a classic routine by Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser. The spectator deals the cards into three piles on the table. In the end, the magician is left holding ten cards, while the tabled piles reveal four Tens. Finally, the bottom card is turned over to reveal four Kings.

Three-Way Chase ACAAN

A spectator freely selects a card, and it is returned to the deck and shuffled. The spectator then cuts a small packet, and the deck is dealt into three piles. From each pile, a number of cards - freely chosen by the spectator - is cut from the top. The three resulting cards are not the selection. However, the total of their values locates the selection, and the bottom cards of the three piles turn out to be the other three cards of the same value.

Cyclic Location

A fooling routine: the spectator cuts off a packet and notes the bottom card, then shuffles freely, replaces it anywhere in the deck, and shuffles again. The performer still locates the selection. Furthermore, the spectator decides how the shuffle is done; the deck is then mixed into three packets, and the bottom cards of all three packets match the value of the selection.

From the early 1970's, this unique effect may be the most visual card transformation, without any suspicious handling, fingers spread wide apart, no cover-ups. Walter Cummings was a convention favorite from the old school. Angle proof and quite startling.Requires moderate skill.

Four Packet Location ACAAN

A very fooling card location and ACAAN effect.
Two spectators each cut a packet and remember the bottom card, then replace them into the deck. The performer has a spectator cut a large packet, then deals left and right on the table, eliminating the left pile each time, until only one card remains on the right. That card is spectator two's selection. Not only that, the top cards of the four dealt piles are turned over - their values add up to reveal the final position of spectator one's card.

Joker Impossible Location

The spectator shuffles the deck at the start. The magician removes a prediction card, then the spectator freely selects a card and loses it back into the deck.
Next, the magician has the spectator freely cut the deck, placing Jokers at the cut points. At first, the Jokers isolate a large section containing the selection, and eventually they sandwich the exact selection itself.

Multiple Cuts ACAAN

A spectator freely selects a card, freely cuts the deck to determine a number, and divides the deck into four packets. After multiple rounds of reassembling and cutting, the selection still arrives at the exact corresponding number. A self-working, fooling card routine.

Three Chances ACAAN

A spectator freely selects a card and loses it into the middle of the deck. The magician claims he only needs three chances to cut to the selection, but all three cards cut to are misses. In the end, the combined values of those three cards reveal the exact position of the spectator’s selection.

Mental Math ACAAN

This is a completely impromptu ACAAN. The spectator names any number and freely remembers a random card. In the end, the remembered card appears exactly at the named position.
However, I prefer to think of it as a card control system - a method for controlling a merely remembered card to any desired position with no setup whatsoever. Without question, this concept can take your card magic to the next level.

An almost self-working card location effect with an ACAAN feel.
Fool your magician friends. A powerful routine that can be performed with a single deck.
The spectator selects a card, returns it to the center of the deck, and cuts the cards. The magician then has the spectator cut off another packet. Using that packet, cards are dealt one to the table and one to the bottom of the packet repeatedly until only a single card remains. That final card reveals the exact location of the selection. As a bonus, the spectator also discovers the other three cards matching the selection's value. ...
Lager Switch

This has nothing to do with Lager Beer, but a lot with David Regal. REGAL read backwards is LAGER and that's where the name comes from. David's excellent "Clarity Box" that he marketed was the inspiration, in fact I actually use his box in this video (although you could use any container or suitable drinking glass).
This is my handling with the UNPREPARED crystal box, acchieving the same result: a folded card, which has been in full view inside the box is switched out for a signed card. This is a no-frill switch for the worker with a heavy rentention of vision aspect to it.

Spectator Cuts to 4 Sandwich

The spectator's cut to the four sandwiches is a succession of magical effects. The magician takes his two lucky cards from the deck: the two of hearts and the two of diamonds. The spectator examines the two cards. The magician shuffles the deck and asks the spectator to cut it into four piles. This is where the fun part begins. Each time the magician approaches the two lucky cards to one of the piles, a card will mysteriously appear between the two lucky cards.
