This is an experiment to see whether the performer can identify a spectator's fingerprints. A spectator selects 5 cards from a deck, the faces of which are shown to be a random selection. The cards are dealt face down onto the table and the performer turns his back.

The helper now mixes the tabled cards by moving them around on the surface and then turns any one face up and presses his fingertips onto the card face. The card is then turned face down again and the cards mixed on the table again.

Turning back, the performer picks up the cards one at a time and amazingly manages to identify...

You show five Jokers, arrange them into a face-up and face-down pattern, and suddenly they are a royal flush.

A spectator selects at random a card from an invisible pack - let's imagine the spectator says it is the 5H. This invisible card is apparently placed onto the spectator's hand.

Next a blank faced deck is freely displayed and shuffled before one card is selected. This blank faced card to placed momentarily onto the invisible card, and then when it is turned over, the blank face is now printed with the 5H card face.

You start out with four cards with a blue back on both sides. They transform into four cards with red back designs on both sides, plus they have a big hole through the middle.

Coin into matchbox.

A coin is borrowed and a spectator's initials are written on a sticker which is stuck to the money. Holding the coin at fingertips, the magician passes his hand over the coin and instantly it transforms into a matchbox! That is already totally unexpected, but a second surprise comes when the box is pushed open to reveal the signed coin sitting inside.

The two Jokers are removed from the deck. Two cards are then selected. One by one the selections are placed between the Jokers and are then stretched to twice their length.

Now, both cards are placed between the Jokers after which they fuse into one examinable two-faced card that can be given to the spectator as a keepsake.

Finally the other cards are tossed onto the table and are seen to have become totally blank!

In Turbulence, the impossible becomes possible.

Turbulence is a multi-phase card routine that is both mind-bending and entertaining.

Effect:

Turbulence kicks off with a sizzling and super clean "Collectors" phase where four Kings instantly collect three previously signed cards. This is Alan Rorrison's solution to the Hofzinser Ace Problem.

A spectator freely chooses any card and signs it. The card is put face down between the two Jokers and these three cards (Jokers and spectator selection) are tabled. Then the spectator or another spectator selects four random cards from the face down spread. Magically the four chosen cards are the four aces. The ace with the same color as the spectator's card vanishes and reappears between the Jokers. The signed spectator selection is now found among the three remaining aces.

This is a beautiful ring-card linking effect.

Spectator freely chooses a card which he signs. Performer hole punches the signed card and magically attaches and then magically removes a ring. The hole punched card can be handed out for inspection.

You show a little notepad where an empty drawn window is depicted. Have a spectator pick a card and mentally tear off a corner. You now throw or cascade the cards towards the notepad and suddenly the chosen card is seen behind the window. However, a corner is missing. Snap your fingers over the missing corner and it appears behind the window.
