This is Allan's handling of a famous Brother John Hamman effect. Black queens transform into red queens and black kings transform into red kings, all tied together in a fun story of a double date going to a bar.

Learn how to fold three beautiful cards. Included are templates and detailed video instructions. Particularly the Twist Flap is interesting, because it has a 'reveal'. You show the card which does not immediately look particularly impressive or impossible. You then lift a flap to expose a much more difficult situation that will impress everybody.

You show four nine of hearts face up. Count them again and one has turned face down showing a red back. Count them again and a grey-colored back is showing. Then a gold-colored back. When the fourth turns over, and reveals a green back, all cards are now face down showing four different backs. Then you turn them face up and they are now all queen of spades. You can go again through the same sequence as before, where one card at a time turns face down showing four different backs. The climax is that at the end all four faces have changed to aces.

It is hard to imagine more color changes mixed...

This is a tremendously visual effect developed by Dai Vernon using the Elmsley Count. The aces one by one turn face-up while the four aces are merely shown and counted. For the climax the black aces change place with the red aces while they are resting in the spectator's hand.

This is the classic twisting effect on steroids with multiple changes and a climax that hits you between the eyes. First you show four cards that have the same face and back designs, for example four kings of diamond with black backs. When you turn one king face up, they magically all are face up. Suddenly one of them turns upside down but it has a different colored back. Then two more different backs appear. Then all revert to the original backs. The climax is that all kings change to four different aces that have each a different back and each card is shown and tabled individually.

Imagine the viewer selects a card (forced). You take the card box, remove a card and with one wave of your hand the card turns into a candy box. You open it and there is the viewer's card.

This is a signature effect from Peter, containing multiple counts and a surprising ending. This trick involves color changes of both the front of the cards as well as the backs. As a kicker, at the end of the routine you will be able to show four different backs all different from the ones shown to the spectators before.

The Ultra Move was created by Arthur Buckley and first published in Card Control. It was popularized by Harry Lorayne. It is a very deceptive card switch and can also be used as card vanish.

The magician shows two cards: a regular picture card and a blank face one. The magician stacks the cards on top of each other and the card with the picture visually turns white. After the effect, both cards can be examined by the spectator. Includes a bonus idea by Zaw Shinn. Gimmick requires arts and crafts and some supplies you may not have at home.

Uncutted is a three-phase routine with a totally unexpected ending. The spectator can make free choices but many coincidences will happen. A deck cut in half literally. The spectator will always magically find the corresponding card in the other half. A long series of unexpected coincidences. A very fun routine.

A very visual and sudden spectator card rising to the top effect.

Spectator chooses a card (no force). The card can optionally be signed. It is inserted face-up in the middle of the deck. The performer places the top card by 90 degrees rotated on the top of the deck. He then removes that top card and suddenly the spectator's card rises to the top and is seen face-up on the top of the deck.

The gimmick is easy to make. It requires arts and crafts and some of the usual supplies for card gaffing.

Phones are now very personal items. Long time ago in order to perform an effect with pictures; you would have to carry the pictures with you. But now people carry pictures with them all the time. Million of pictures! Using your spectator's phone and his Instagram account the effect goes like this:

Your spectator freely selects any category of pictures. He searches for this category himself; then your spectator selects any picture he wants. This picture could have been uploaded by anybody in the whole world. Yet you read your spectator's mind and accurately find the username that uploaded that...

Use the basic Biddle action to count more than the number of cards you have or less than the number of cards you hold in your hands.

The ultimate ungaffed wild card - use any deck.

The original version of this routine was called Born to be Wild (from Inspirations). Peter has enjoyed performing the original over the years, for lay people AND magicians, but the fact that he couldn't show the last card always bothered him. You were left with a face-to-face double that had to be dropped onto the deck and a triple lift executed to finish. Going back to the deck for a finish is never good! But this has now changed ...

This new version changes that. You are now left with a single court card for a clean and powerful finish. There is also...

You borrow a coin from the audience, then tell them to sign the coin. Next you put the coin on the floor. You then step on the coin and immediately slide your foot from your shoe, revealing that the coin is totally inside the shoe.

Vanish small objects such as a coin, sponge ball, poker chip, card corner from your bare hand.

The construction of the gimmick requires some arts and crafts. The method produces a sound that you need to be able to mask with music or some other way. Also, you will have to watch your angles. This method works fine for a social media video or perhaps on stage but is otherwise not very practical.

A startling transformation. A cased deck is shown. The Jokers are removed and suddenly the entire case is gone and only the cards remain. The gimmick is very easy to make, and the performance couldn't be simpler.
