Allan Sankirtan
Allan has been a student of ancient wisdom, symbolism, dream interpretation, mythology, sacred mathematics and eastern philosophy for over thirty nine years.
In 1978, Allan travelled to India, where he was privileged to experience a number of life changing revelations. These, combined with his day-to-day experiences with dream interpretation, gave him a totally new perspective of life.
Allan's experiences in India had a profound impact on him: an impact deeply etched in his memories. Looking back on his journey, Allan freely admits that his life can be neatly divided into two: before India, and after.
After returning to live in Australia, Allan focused his professional career as a Civil Engineer in the service of the wider community. Despite the pressures of a successful career, in his spare time, Allan began piecing together a rational philosophy to allow him to explain everything he has been privileged to participate in, and understand, of the magic inner processes that create and sustain all life.
In 1993 using the pen name Allan Done, Allan began writing down these revelations to share them with others. After a series of inspired writing sessions guided by spirit, the outcome was the unpublished manuscript of an almost complete book. Allan gave this manuscript the working title, War and Independence.
After several years and many disappointing attempts to have the book published, Allan realised that it could not be published because the manuscript, like his life, was still very much a work in progress. He also realised that it could not be finished (and would probably not be published during his life), because of one essential missing ingredient — an unfinished section with the notional title: Integrating the Whole.
