Angel Caguiat

Angel Caguiat is an 88 year old handicapped living in Greater Toronto Area. His wife and he just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. They have four children who are all living with their own families.

He retired in 1990 after serving Baton Broadcasting Incorporated of Toronto, Ontario, Canada for seventeen years. With a desire to reinvent himself and maintain a peaceful and worthy retirement he allocated part of his time writing.

He was Chief Engineer of VERTA Channel 10, an educational television station, in Bacolod City, Philippines for a short period. Before that he worked as a field engineer of FF Cruz & Co., Quezon City, Philippines on project SECOR (Sequential Collation of Range) of the US Army Map Service which ended in 1970. From 1953 to 1963, he was Assistant Chief Engineer of DZBB-TV (presently GMA TV-7) in Quezon City, Philippines. He is a holder of BSc in Electrical Engineering—graduate of FEATI University (Manila, Philippines)—class 1958. He taught electronics for five years in the same university. He was a civilian radio operator/clerk assigned in Okinawa in 1946 to 1950 for 623rd Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron, USAF.
