Anna V. Zulaica

Anna V. Zulaica is the founder and chef of Presto! Catering and Food Services, which focuses on providing healthy and organic foods to the community. In 2009, Anna traveled to the Basque region of Spain where she learned to cook authentic Basque dishes. She also traveled to Florence, Italy (where she took a private culinary course on Italian cuisine, wine, and the Mediterranean diet) and spent a week on an organic farm in Tuscany baking vegan breads, pastries and biscotti in a wood-fired oven. In 2010, Anna’s recipes were published in The Antioxidant Counter: A Pocket Guide to the Revolutionary ORAC Scale for Choosing Healthy Foods. In 2012, Anna co-authored The DASH Diet Cookbook: Quick and Delicious Recipes for Losing Weight, Preventing Diabetes, and Lowering Blood Pressure, in which she created all of the low sodium recipes.

Anna enjoys cooking and hosting for private parties in the Bay Area, as well as teaching healthy cooking classes and clinics multiple times a year. Her mission is to teach people that healthy cooking can be delicious and that eating healthy is not being on a diet, it is a lifestyle we should all follow.
