Bruce Cooke

I live in Shepparton Victoria Australia and have been writing for over twenty years. The publishers of my nineteen books are Swimming Kangaroo, Eternal Press, Whiskey Creek, Desert Breeze and Magellan Books. I also wrote the initial musical stage script of the C S Lewis children's classic, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe which ran successfully in all of the Australian Capital Cities some eight years ago. I prefer as my genre, Australian Colonial stories of adventure and romance but also write mystery and thrillers. I tried my hand at romance and have two successful books titled Love in the Afternoon, a story of two fifty year olds who fall in love and an Australian Colonial romance titled The Campbell Odyssey. Its based in the 1850s around the time of the gold rush days in Australia. I also like adventure romance and try to show the female characters as self reliant and determined who make their own destinies.
