This is a rugged heavy duty hand-held corner rounder that produces corners with a radius of 1/8" (3 mm) - the perfect rounding for playing cards as well as other cards like plastic ID cards, badges or business cards. The best part of it is that it can cut up to five playing cards at the same time. This significantly cuts down your work if you are making lots of cards.
It is also the ideal tool to round corners for cards that have been shortened, as for the preparation of a Svengali deck or a simple short card, or cards that have been cut conically - so called stripper decks. Whenever you need to correct the corner rounding this tool will help you.
It has a V-shaped guide where a corner is inserted. One squeeze with your hand and a perfectly rounded card corner is created. Lots of materials can be cut with this cutter from simple paper to cardboard and even plastic up to a thickness of 2 mm.
I challenge everybody to find a cheaper 1/8" corner rounder. I searched for months, contacted half a dozen manufacturers until I found this tool. Similar products can be found on other websites for much higher prices. Own an essential tool for the DIY card maker.

Reviewed by Pete McCabe Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Date Added: Saturday 17 November, 2012Perfect corners for only $30. Not elegant—who cares—but heavy-duty. Highly recommended. Reviewed by Timo Jokivartio Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Date Added: Thursday 11 August, 2011Excellent quality tool for a great price. The corner will actually be about 2.1 mm (1/12") radius, the very same as in credit cards. You need to insert carefully as it nibs so little off. Best (only) suitable for a clean straight angle (90°). Spring on this thing is rather resistant (direct force is applied, with no gear train), but suppose it needs to be to spring-back well. This is not a particularly elegant instrument by design, but rather a working horse, that does the job. Worked (almost) fine even for 1.90 mm polycarbonate, let alone 2 mm book cardboard (hard fiber). Construction is quite clever. Delivery was extremely fast, 6 days to Finland (EU) in a package small enough to fit in my letterbox – saved the trip to post office. Shipping costs in relation to actual mail costs (excellent in comparison to some US suppliers) – merely 1,20 extra for handling & package. I do like that much Mr. Wasshubers attitude and way of dealing with people. Thanks.
