Derek E. Pearson
Derek E Pearson is a prolific writer currently working on the sequel to GODS' Enemy, GODS' Fool, which is set during WW1 at the latter end of 1917. It is due to be published to coincide with the centenary of the Battle of Cambrai, Nov/Dec 2017 and will be Pearson's ninth novel. It continues a dark horror theme and features the enigmatic Preacher Spindrift, last seen in Texas 1883.
The final book in the popular Milla Carter cult story arc (Body Holiday trilogy and Soul's Asylum trilogy) Soul's Asylum: The Swarm, will be published in April 2017. It is an epic space opera and a fitting conclusion to a critically acclaimed series. Carter has been claimed as a feminist icon and a heroine for our times.
Slave Skin, due out mid 2017, is a departure from Pearson's previous novels. It mixes hard sci-fi with spirit lore and visits the Realms of Light, the first world of the dead. When events on Earth impact the 'Lives' of the departed, talented medium Medina Bishop must seek help to solve the mystery. She and a team of diverse characters will confront an alien threat over 450 million years in the making.
Derek is married to Sue and lives in front of a laptop on the London/Surrey borders. He also cooks.
