Ed Boles
Ed Boles is an aquatic ecologist who has lived in Belize for twenty-three years with his wife and son. Working within lower Mississippi River basin and northern Gulf of Mexico while living in the United States, he continued work in water-based conservation within Belize. He has worked as an environmental consultant, researcher, artist and educator, having taught at the University of Belize helped establish and develop the Bachelor of Science Program in natural resource management. He continues to assist students working on field ecology projects, community driven watershed conservation initiatives, and farmers interested in working with nature. Over the past two decades he has lead field courses in watershed and tropical ecology and conservation for university groups from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
