Harry Baron

(London, England: 28th August 1919 - 27th May 1991)

Stage name of Harry Albert Boughen. Learned at age 5 from uncle's pocket tricks. Pro magic dealer since 1940. Also close-up magician and lecturer. Owned MBC Magic Studio in London in 1953. In 1953 co-founded (with Joe Stuthard) The Kaymar Magic Co in Billericay, Essex County, originally a wholesaler to Hamley's and Gamage's, then until his death a retail-wholesale shop. Also managed Gamage's magic department during its last 25 years.

Harry Baron was President of The Magic Club International, an Associate of The Inner Magic Circle, member of The International Brotherhood of Magicians, Mephisto Magic Club and numerous other Magical Organisations.
