Jonathan S. Weissman
Jonathan S. Weissman has always listed teaching as his number-one passion, since his very first class on September 4, 2001.
He is a tenured Associate Professor and IT Program Coordinator in the Computing Sciences Department at Finger Lakes Community College. For FLCC, in addition to teaching, Jonathan rewrote the IT degree, to keep it current with the industry, and designed the Networking Lab. He also is a full-time Lecturer in the Computing Security Department at Rochester Institute of Technology, teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses. The highlight of his career came in May 2014, when he was awarded the RIT Outstanding Teaching Award for Non-Tenure Track Faculty 2013–2014. Jonathan also is a Lecturer in the School of Management at Nazareth College, and teaches IT courses at Naz. Jonathan has a master’s degree in computer science from Brooklyn College.
