L. K. Madigan
I live in Portland with my husband, son, and two big black dogs. When I'm not reading or writing, I like to travel, ride my bike, and take photos. I wrote my first novel when I was 8, called Mermaid Fun. 75 pages of pencil, and crayon stick figures. My art skills have never developed beyond that point. I am the author of Flash Burnout, which won the William C.Morris Award, a national honor presented by the Y.A.L.S.A. branch of the American Library Association in 2010. I am also the author of The Mermaids Mirror, and 2 as yet unpublished novels that companion Flash Burnout.
