Colour SchemeJozsef KovacsYou introduce a deck of cards and five different coloured pens. You have a spectator freely select a card, after which the card is lost back into the deck. They are now invited to select some, or all, of the pens. Let's say they pick three pens: RED, ORANGE and GREEN. The remaining pens are discarded. You ask them to take each pen and write a single-digit number with it. This results in three written digits, each of a different colour. For example: 7 3 5. Turning to a second spectator, you ask her to mix the three pens so that they are in a random order. The three written digits are now re-arranged... | $2.50 to wish list
Shouting JokersJozsef KovacsAs Aldo Colombini says... "A wonderful routine with so many climaxes!" This is based on the famous theme of the Whispering Queens. Effect: Two people each select a card and sign them. You now introduce a packet of three Jokers. The two selections are touched by the Jokers who then "whisper" their identities to you! One of the selections is cut into the deck, but instantly reappears between the Jokers! The other selection is now placed among the three Jokers from where... it vanishes... only to reappear seconds later in your pocket! No palming. No extra cards. The selected cards can even be signed if you... | $2.50 to wish list
CCARN: Chosen Card At Random NumberJozsef Kovacs
Any card is selected [say the King of Spades] and then buried into the deck by the spectator. Using a 2nd deck, a number is very fairly generated, again by the spectator [let's say 25]. You won't believe this, but... the 25th card now dealt to in the 1st deck is the King of Spades! 1st edition 2013, 2 pages. | $7.50 to wish list
Losing DiamondsJoshua JayA card is chosen, travels to the pocket, but turns out to be the wrong card. Visibly 'flick' the diamonds off of the wrong card. They flutter to the floor, leaving you holding the selection. This is of intermediate difficulty. You will need to be able to force and control a card to the top. And you will also need to do a top change. No palming required. Recorded live at the Convention at the Capital 2000. runtime: 7min 5s | $6 to wish listMP4 (video)
A Scotch Brand of MagicJoseph WhiteMagic enabled by double sided tape. This ebook will show you how to place a coin at the tips of your fingers and, in full view of the audience, cause that coin to vanish in an instant! All this without the use of a pull. You may shake your hands vigorously to prove that nothing is contained therein. You then proceed to produce coin after coin from mid-air - you will produce a number of coins, not just one. With this new method of palming it is possible for the magician to work in short sleeves (or, for that matter, with no sleeves at all). You can show both hands convincingly empty and at... | ★★★★★ $8 to wish list

Once one does discover the different things that can be made and the games that can be played with string, a new world is opened up. Conrad "Connie" Bush's Color IsolationJoseph K. SchmidtWhat is Color Isolation? It's a complete card act where the two colors of the deck — red and black — continually separate, each time under quite different and more mysterious conditions. The deck is handled and shuffled by the spectator throughout, yet the colors seem to instantly obey the magician's every whim. From the performer's standpoint, Color Isolation is an interlocking series of effects, each building on the next. You can borrow a deck, have it thoroughly shuffled by the spectator and proceed. After shuffling the deck, the spectator simply cuts off a portion and counts them... | ★★★★★ $15 to wish list
The Impromptu Close-Up Card RiseJoseph K. SchmidtExcerpt from the Introduction: I have always believed that any close-up card rise, wherein the chosen card is "brought up" from the rear of the pack, loses so much of its effect because it must be ended too quickly, before the spectators see that the card did not really rise out of the middle. The effect of the trick is considerably strengthened by the appearance of the chosen card projecting from somewhere in the middle of the pack at the conclusion of the rise. Jack McMillen's "PLUNGER" rising card trick was, to the best of my knowledge, the first method in which the chosen card rose from the middle... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish list

R.C. Buff's The Best of BuffJoseph K. SchmidtA selection of new and novel rope magic from R.C. Buff's rare Rope Leaflets. Excerpt from the introduction: In 1980 Mr. R.C. Buff, "The Wizard Of Knotsville", started putting out a little Xeroxed publication called "BUFF'S LEAFLETS" which was devoted exclusively to Rope Magic. These LEAFLETS were published for over four years and contained a lot of fine material. Because they had such a limited distribution, it was deemed beneficial to the magical fraternity if some of this excellent material would be assembled into booklet form. I think you will be amused and delighted to read some examples... | ★★★★★ $15 to wish list
