Two semi-automatic ACAANs.

In the main effect, the spectator mentally moves an imagined card into the deck in an imagined position only. All this happens without the mentalist touching the cards and without knowing which card and what number the spectator has thought of.

In the second ACAAN, the spectator generates a random card and number then counts to the generated position and will find the card. All this happens without the mentalist ever touching the cards.

The two effects are very easy to perform and do not require any sleight-of-hand.

In the Image of Jaks
A quicker version of an old Jaks routine with a couple of presentation options suggested. This is a great routine which has no explanation except that you must be psychic. Some jumbo ESP cards are mixed, some envelopes are mixed, the cards are placed in the envelopes while the performer is well away from the proceedings. The mentalist can now reveal the contents of the envelopes and possibly give information about the people who assisted.

A fork and a spoon are shown. Someone chooses one leaving you with the spoon (ho, ho!), which you now bend using 'the power of your mind' alone. Actually you do bend it, but by pressing it against your forehead! However, it now visibly straightens (all by itself!) then slowly bends again, whilst held in one hand only, snaps in two and is handed out for immediate examination!

Self-working...nobody does it for you! It is all in the most simple and ingenious gimmick that costs you a penny if you don't already have the right thing somewhere at home.
