Roly-PolyDevin KnightRoly-Poly is one of the most commercial close-up tricks you can do, it is quick and easy to do. It's perfect when you have less than a minute to impress someone. I used this effect in my strolling restaurant gig for over seven years. This often got better response than some of my other effects. Kids love to watch this, and it always generates smiles and laughter. This was taught during my 2010 lecture tour and was well received by the magicians in attendance. The effect is that you show an ungimmicked quarter (any quarter size coin can be used in foreign countries). You start rubbing the... | ★★★★★ $2 to wish list

Signed Bending CoinsTitanasBorrow a coin. Get it signed and bend it in your hand. It is a clear and strong effect. Titanas explains two different variations which can be performed standing. The video is shot for my taste from a bit too far, particularly in the demonstration part the coin is hard to see. However, the explanation is clear and should not cause any difficulties for you to learn this wonderful effect. 1st edition 2008; duration 8 minutes 13 seconds. | ★★★★★ $15 to wish listMP4 (video)

SilverdustedScott F. Guinn#2 in the Sit-Down Coin Magic series, this is one of Scott's most acclaimed coin routines. You introduce a saltshaker filled with "coin concentrate" (silver glitter). You sprinkle a little of the dust onto your obviously empty hand, squeeze, and a half dollar appears in your hand! You decide to demonstrate the special properties of this coin, making it vanish, reappear, penetrate the table, turn into a foreign copper coin and back to a half dollar! Finally, with a squeeze and a crumble, the coin dematerializes back into the shaker, and your hands are absolutely empty! This routine is visually... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish list
Simplex Hopping HalvesMark LeveridgeIf you enjoy simple to do magic that never requires a re-set and which you can do anytime, anywhere, you will love this two-stage routine using a 10p and a £2 coin. (Any two coins of different sizes can be used for this effect.) Both coins are borrowed from spectators and placed into your fist. The 10p is openly removed, shown freely and genuinely placed away in your pocket. Instantly it jumps back to your hand to join the £2. Then the £2 is removed, but instead of both coins reappearing in the hand, they both vanish and are produced from the pocket. Very clean handling, easy to do,... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish list

Slo-MoMark LeveridgeThe idea for this routine came after I read Derek Dingle's Silver Quick routine in Apocalypse (Sept. 1978) which was a sort of coins across into a spectator's hand. I played around with the Dingle routine for a while but I felt I would not be able to use it commercially, although I liked the idea of something happening with the coins in a spectator's hands. After much experimentation and change, Slo-Mo was put together and is the routine I have been using with lay people ever since. I hope you like it.

In this set of two videos, he will teach a classic of magic, the Coins Through the Table exactly how Slydini performed it. It requires six silver coins and one contrasting coin, a copper coin, a ring, or similar. Dennis will teach you not only the mechanics and sleights but also the tempo, the script, and the details of the psychology. All of these factors come together into a beautiful deception. 1st edition 2023, video 1h 3min.... | ★★★★★ $20 to wish listMP4 (video)
Slydini One Coin RoutineD. Angelo FerriThis is a quintessential Slydini routine, a tour-de-force of misdirection combined with lapping, secret takes, and drops. A single coin miraculously vanishes and reappears several times. It almost seems to be melting away between the fingers of the performer. Dennis will teach you all the details - essentially the same way how Slydini taught him. Additionally, you will get recollections and stories of how it was studying under Slydini in his apartment. It is a great way to learn this wonderful routine.

Sparring PartnersScott F. Guinn#3 in the "Sit-Down Coin Magic" Series, this double coin box routine is an absolute stunner! Two small brass boxes with lids are shown empty. The lids are replaced. After a magic gesture, one of the boxes has 4 silver coins in it! These are dumped into a spectator's hand (they can be examined) and then replaced in the box. The lids are placed on both boxes. Suddenly, the box with the coins is empty, and the other box now holds the coins! Just as suddenly, the coins jump back to the first box! Next, the 4 silver coins instantly and miraculously change to 4 copper coins! These copper coins... | ★★★★★ $10 to wish list
Spellbound to PleaseR. Paul WilsonScotland's top sleight-of-hand artist gives up one of his pet routines. It looks like real magic. A copper coin changes to a silver coin and back several times. Surprisingly there are no really difficult moves. You will need a copper and a silver coin, but the spectators only see one at any given moment. And Paul's clever handling eliminates the thought in the spectators mind that there could be two coins. Recorded live at the Convention at the Capital 1999. runtime: 4min 46s | ★★★★★ $6 to wish listMP4 (video)
