Link a rubber band on a signed card frame with a flash of fire. Give this impossible object away as a souvenir. The gimmick is exceedingly clever and not too difficult to make, but will require some care and patience.

Borrow a paper pad (Post-it) and let the spectator sign the front page. After you draw the wrong card you add a few lines to make a box. Then the chosen card rises out of the drawn box. After that you rip of the signed paper and fold it (if you wish) and heat up with a lighter (you don't have to do this). When the spectator opens the paper, the card is gone. He could check the pad and keep all items as a souvenir! No threads, no slits! (like the first Version). If you follow the routine you end up clean. You can build the gimmick in a few minutes....

Hypnotic Spellbound is a spellbound just like any other -- a few different color changes of a coin in one sequence. There is one sleight difference. There are two common ways of performing Spellbound. One of them is a show of pure skill -- the magician changes the coin's color one time right after the other without saying anything. The second most common type is the same as above but the magician also describes what's happening -- "the coin changes color from... to..." etc.

Scotland's top sleight-of-hand artist gives up one of his pet routines. It looks like real magic. A copper coin changes to a silver coin and back several times.

Surprisingly there are no really difficult moves. You will need a copper and a silver coin, but the spectators only see one at any given moment. And Paul's clever handling eliminates the thought in the spectators mind that there could be two coins.

You show, one by one, red and black cards perfectly mixed. That is, you show a red card, then a black card, then a red card, a black card, and so on, until you have shown 8 cards. But when you are done with showing the interleaved cards they are already separated.

This count is perfect for an oil and water routine or any other situation where you need to show cards mixed, but in the process of showing them mixed, they are being separated.
