Mary Helen Farr

Born in England in 1949. Migrated to Australia in 1956 as part of the push to encourage migrants to populate Australia. Grew up in Victoria, a State of Australia, in a farming area. A good life, lots of outdoors activities and healthy home grown food. Went to school until aged 17. Loved English literature, wrote poetry and dabbled in writing short stories. Went on after school to train in welfare work. Retrained at University as a mature aged student. Pursued English Literature again. Worked in social work until 1996 when I trained in Massage and other natural therapies. Have run my own business since. Began writing for fun, when I began to 'semi retire'. Two years later, I published Harrison's Way. I have completed one book since and almost another called Eve's second chance which I will publish later this year.

I am married to Andrew. We live in Launceston Tasmania (The Island State of Australia). I have three children and three grandchildren. I love gardening, walking, rowing and being with my family.
