Mickie Phipps
Mickie Phipps spent more than four years in various management and leadership positions in IBM prior to taking on the position in the STI Design Center, where she held ultimate responsibility for the PowerPC core schedule, the product, and the team. Before that, she spent twenty years with the United States Air Force and is a retired Reservist. Ms. Phipps left IBM in 2004 to open a small business and pursue a career in writing. She lives in Kingsland, Texas.
