With almost three decades experience in business development and media acquisitions, Norman Hoffmann brings a wealth of real-world experience to the classroom and consulting assignments. In 2006, Virginia Business Magazine named him as a finalist for the award of Chief Financial Officer of the year; and he has taught the graduate course on Mergers & Acquisitions at the University of Utah, William & Mary, and Old Dominion University while lecturing at graduate business programs, including those at Duke University and the University of North Carolina.

Hoffmann earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) and his A.B. from Duke University. He is author of the book Mergers & Acquisitions Strategy for Consolidations: Roll Up, Roll Out and Innovate for Superior Growth and Performance.
