Patricia Furness-Smith
Patricia Furness-Smith has a M.A., B.A. (Hons.), P.G.C.E., FNCS, F.IfL, FCIEA, MBACP, J.P. She is a Fellow of the UK National Counselling Society, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors, a Fellow of the Institute for Learning a member of the BACP, BAPCA, EDS, UKRC and is an ABC Registered Trainer.
She has a wide breadth of experience lecturing in Psychology, Sociology, Psychopathology, Teacher Training and Counsellor/Psychotherapist Training over the past 21 years. Also, she is an Examiner, Moderator and Qualification Reviewer in Counselling/Psychotherapy for major examining bodies in the UK.
Patricia has been helping couples experiencing relationship difficulties for over 20 years in the capacity of a counsellor and trainer and continues this work for a leading relationship counselling service in England. In addition to being a published author of a Book entitled: Flying with Confidence on the subject of phobias, especially fear of flying, her other main interests lie in Anxiety Reduction and Stress Counselling, Relationship Therapy, Eating Disorders and Employment Counselling.
