R. J. Halliday
R. John Halliday was born in Leicester, UK in the late 1930s and attended the Gateway Grammar School there. He was a professor and researcher of political history at the University of Warwick, UK and published much on John Stuart Mill. He died around 2010. His obituary was published in the Independent Newspaper. His wife was the former Sondra Gibson, also from Leicester.
