Susan Daniel Fayad

Susan Daniel Fayad is a Lebanese American, who was born and raised in the U.S. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Special Education at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. After graduating, she taught primary grades at an international charter school. Her teaching experience led her to delve into educational programs on an international level, working with NGOs and U.N. affiliated organizations. This field of work compelled her to pursue her studies in International Affairs from the Lebanese American University, culminating in a career as a state department sponsored educational adviser with AMIDEAST/Lebanon. After relocating to the U.S. where she had her greatest labor of love, her two children, Susan continued working as a college adviser. Summer vacations often include a trip back to Lebanon to connect with family and friends. A vacation to Lebanon would not be the same without spending time with tata (grandmother) and jidoo (grandfather).

This book is dedicated to the precious memories her son and his grandfather shared together, before jidoo passed away. Susan lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and two children.
