Conner Murphy has lived his life as the quintessential man's man; a rugged entrepreneur who valued his family, friendships and country above all. But as America changed, so did Conner. He became apathetic as he witnessed the unbridled power of governmental agencies stripping the freedoms of forsaken citizens. Nearing sixty and a widower, Conner has no stomach to be engaged in the new America where countless frustrations and unspeakable atrocities are foisted upon the people by unelected and unaccountable bureaucracies. Conner's apathy turns to anger and he is determined to see the ones responsible for his family's grief punished. What he doesn't bargain for is the ferocity of their retaliation. What was to be a single act of retribution soon becomes a fight for survival against some of the most powerful men in government. Conner Murphy's journey takes him from the high deserts of northern Nevada to the tidal flats of Florida's gulf coast; from the turquoise waters of South Beach to the streets of Washington, D.C. as he fights to save his family and eliminate those that want him dead.
