One of the best ways to secretly know what questions a spectator has sealed inside an envelope.
When I was performing as psychic, Jason Michaels, this was one of my favorite ways to secretly learn information without carbons or center tears. This is one of my most guarded secrets.
The mentalist hands the sitter or spectator a small piece of paper, a pencil and a coin envelope. He requests the person to write on the piece of paper, one or two important questions that he would like answered psychically.
Once the spectator has written the questions, he is told to fold it into a small billet and drop it into the envelope and seal it. The mentalist now takes the envelope into his hands never allowing it to leave the sight of the spectator. In a short while, the mentalist correctly answers the questions and hands the sealed envelope back to the spectator. The spectator can open the envelope and inside he will still find his folded billet. He may keep both the billet and envelope and nothing will be found amiss. Positively no billet switches, center tears, window envelopes, chemicals or impression devices of any kind. No electronic devices are used.
