Valerie E Lang has worked as a Child Care Worker in a kindergarten class setting for the last ten years.
Valerie was inspired to write about the Whisker Team as she frequently visualized a possum running through the trees to help save the day. She feels that children can connect with nature through the love of animals and the environment.
Valerie is intent on showing off the unique and wonderful wild life that Australia has. Her books conclude with animals facts and photographs to help educate children.
Valerie was also inspired to write by her father Charles Lang. She lives in Melbourne, Australia with her two children Carmella and Joshua.
