Word-Up by Graham Hey

Easy to do mentalism effects.

Word-Up is a word prediction where a spectator selects any magazine from a selection, any two numbers are called out and the word on that page and line is remembered. The performer reads their mind and writes down the exact same word. Then he asks the spectator to flip through their magazine and remember any famous landmark they see ... the performer draws his in advance. He's correct again. It's so easy to do. You'll have to buy a few magazines to make this, but it's worth it. Perfect for stand-up.

Then there's Where's the Balloon? Perfect for close-up or stand-up.

Five balloons are placed into five small envelopes. They are mixed by a spectator and given to the performer behind his back. One at a time he holds them to his forehead - and he uses his powers to find the blue balloon. Can be instantly repeated, the envelopes are not marked and the balloons are identical apart from their color. Very clever, so easy. Instant reset ... you'll love this, and you'll be kicking yourself for not thinking of it yourself. This can be done with objects that are not balloons. Ideas included. Great for close-up or stand-up. There's also a cool bonus effect: A self-working card trick called the 'Crystal Ball' thrown in too.

A cost-of-living-busting, great value $8!
