Yvette Geyer
Yvette Geyer works as an Executive Project Officer at Idasa and is also currently the Chair of the Board of a civil society organisation known as Agri-Aids. She has worked in the development field for 15 years primarily within the civil society sector with a brief secondment to the Ministry of Safety and Security in the mid 1990’s. In that time she has worked in the field of security sector reform with a specific focus on policing, in the areas of peace building and conflict transformation, youth development, capacity building and anti-racism work. She has worked as a researcher, trainer, facilitator, curriculum developer, programme manager and as a Director of an NGO.
