Father Cyprian
The Bottom Collectors by Father Cyprian

From the forward:

What are Bottom Collectors? Perhaps this may be best explained by stating a goal set for working out a version of Roy Walton's "Collectors". The goal was to achieve a clean spreading of the Collectors packet. The means adopted was the addition of three aces plus the three selections to the face of one ace. Another factor that came into developing this approach was that all of the published versions of...

Jerry Andrus
Vampire Needle by Jerry Andrus

Performer borrows a white handkerchief in order to show them a trick with a 'needle and thread'. He then produces the needle and has a spectator thread it with a piece of rope. He then pushes the needle thru the center of the handkerchief and pulls the 'thread' thru after it. This leaves a jagged hole which he trims with a pair of scissors. Handkerchief is finally shown undamaged.

Howard Ray Lawrence
27 Illusions by Howard Ray Lawrence

This PDF would not exist, if it were not for one of those rare coincidences. The content of this ebook was locked away on a set of 16 microfiche since the mid-70s under a title and categorization inaccessible to magic keyword searches. No more than 50 people have seen it or are aware of its existence. And since most of those 50 folks have nothing to do with magic it is a publication completely unknown in the magic community.

It is a remarkable set of plans for 27 illusions which 27 students of architecture at Penn State University under the guidance of Prof. Howard Ray Lawrence produced during...

Eddie Joseph
Come Good Spirits by Eddie Joseph

From Chapter 1:

The much controversial subject of spiritual interaction has been engaging the attention of the majority of thinking people since time immemorial. We have many supporters of Spiritualism in our midst today, and a far greater number of those who accept the cult with some degree of incredulity. Whether one is for or against the subject, he is certainly not occupying a "terra firma" position for preaching his doctrine. People in either group will merely be groping in the dark, trying to reach an unknown region-a region which no living mother's son (or daughter) can know anything...

This book will inevitably be compared with the great card treatise of a little more than a half-century ago, The Expert at the Card Table, by S. W. Erdnase. Like its predecessor, it is obviously the work of an expert; like the earlier book, it is primarily about card techniques rather than card...
