Exhibit A & BStephen TuckerThis is a really funny murder mystery routine. The zippered "case" (used to house everything) is "re-opened" and the possible weapons and five laminated clue-cards are removed. With your help, the spectator now deduces which of the weapons was used. Once he's done so, you explain, humorously, why the other weapons couldn't possibly have been used, so he's effectively solved the murder! This means that everything can be returned to the case, which can then be officially closed.

InfluenceNathanielThe magician explains that a pack of cards includes 52 different values, and one of these card values he had imprinted in the spectators mind. He tells the spectator that he should think about different cards. He shouldn’t take the first that comes in his mind. During the whole process the spectator is free to change his selection, so that everything is fair and without forcing a certain card. The magician takes a closed pack of cards and a thick black marker. He draws the outline of a playing card on the back of the card-box. He shows this outline and announces that he will now draw... | ★★★★★ $12 to wish list
| ★★★★★ $12 to wish list
For Magicians OnlyRobert ParrishThis was a very successful book on magic when it originally appeared in 1944. Even the sophisticated New Yorker put at the top of its list of recommended books for servicemen. Here's the book for every one who ever dreamed of pulling rabbits out of a hat or sawing a woman in two (and putting her back together again). The author, who has had a long experience in platform magic and two previous books... | ★★★★★ $12 to wish list
New Ways To MystifyRobert ParrishNew Ways To Mystify carries on its prestidigitation in the vein of For Magicians Only. Again Mr. Parrish has presented thirty "tricks" that can be performed without elaborate equipment, and with no more skill than the average person can muster. It's all in practice and in knowing how to distract the audience, Mr. Parrish says, and he demonstrates in such a simple manner that anyone, young or old, can master these feats of magic. The general plan of the ebook follows that of the earlier volume, and Mr. Parrish again writes in his witty, urbane fashion. Dozens of simple diagrams, as well as clever chapter head... | ★★★★★ $12 to wish list

MUK JournalRobert Kaldy-Karo & Andreas SwatoschThe MUK or Museum für Unterhaltungskunst (Museum of Entertainment Arts) in Vienna, Austria, issues an interesting magazine every 6 months. This museum covers mostly magic, circus, and variety, and its publication draws from the holdings of the museum. EvolutionAlan RorrisonAn offbeat effect, the head of a stick man that's drawn on a signed business card moves across the paper to another location. Effects where a drawing changes are always crowd pleasers. This one requires a flame from a cigarette lighter. The principle, which was entirely new to me, is ingenious and allows you to create all kinds of variations. The underlying principle essentially allows you to vanish a drawing or piece of drawing at will. You can even draw in several colors. I already have a few ideas that I will explore.
