You present the subject with a pack of cards, preferably one that looks special (there are a couple of options in the manuscript though any deck will do), the subject chooses ten random cards, you study these, pick up an impression (the kicker), note it down, and begin with the simple esoteric procedure... | ★★★★★ $9 to wish list

The Little SecretsFrank BonvilleA great book on the tricks of the trade of professional gamblers, how they cheat and get an advantage in the game. From the introduction: It has been my fortune, or misfortune, whichever you wish to term it, to have traveled a good deal and to have observed not a little. I have engaged in more than one business; it pleased my fancy, and can say, with a pardonable pride, that I have met with some degree of success. During the past few years of my life I have studied human nature in all its phases, from its lowest forms in the gutter, in the slums, in the gilded dens of vice, in the gambling... | $9 to wish list

HallucinationSultan OrazalyVisual and practical effects are rarely combined into one trick. Hallucination is a very practical and visual trick. Imagine you draw 4 points on a playing card, after which you shake the deck and they line up, and that’s not all, you shake the deck again and the points completely disappear.

Slow Oil and WaterBiagio FasanoThis is a new "Oil and Water" routine in which the magic happens in a mysterious way because each movement of the magician is really very slow and clear. All begins with 4 mixed pairs of cards, one red and one black, being shown and put on the table. Then the magician simply shows the first four cards on top, and all their suits become magically the same color. Now the magician will alternate on the table, not only red and black suits but also face up and face down cards. When he squares the deck, just a few seconds later, again the cards mysteriously have separated themselves into red... | $9 to wish listMP4 (video)
Just AbsurdJoseph B.Just Absurd is an incredible effect halfway between an ACAAN and an impossible location. The magician shuffles the deck. The spectator cuts one third of the deck, he remembers the bottom card, and loses his packet somewhere into the middle of the deck. At the end the spectator himself will be able to find the position of the chosen card. Everything under impossible conditions, it will be the spectator who will find his own card. The principle is diabolical, really impressive. Absolutely a fooler. Includes an in-depth explanation.

Against All OddsJoseph B.This is an effect that Joseph is very proud of. When this was released it fooled top card magicians because of its diabolical method. There really seems to be no explanation. The magician is able to find the card chosen by the spectator under extremely tight conditions. The performer always looks away and the deck will be completely shuffled by the spectator. All this with a normal deck of cards. Joseph has cleverly combined two known methods to create a strong routine.

La Routine Des RoisJoseph B.La routine des rois is a mixture of a packet trick and a production of Kings and Aces. You can do it with a normal deck of cards. It is a climax of twists, as you can see from the demo video. You need to know only the Elmsley Count. In any case, I also give you a little tutorial on it. No gaffed cards and no gimmick.

KpytoJoseph B.A new method to learn the identity of three (could be less, and could also be more) truly freely selected cards from a borrowed shuffled deck. A real weapon that can also be used in other routines. A powerful effect and a fooler not only for layman but also for magicians. The magician is able to reveal the identity of three cards randomly taken by the spectator under impossible conditions. This method is unbelievable and diabolic at the same time. Everything with a borrowed shuffled deck. The magician always looks away.

ARCAANJoseph B.ARCAAN is an ACAAN with two decks of cards that is not only very easy to do but a complete miracle. It works every single time and always with a different card. For fans of the theme, it is certainly a gem to try. Two decks: one blue and the other red. The spectator chooses one. Let's say the red deck. The spectator cuts from the deck a completely random number of cards and then he counts them. Then he shuffles the deck and puts a Joker into the middle of the deck. The card on the right of the joker will be the suit and the card on the left will be the value. Now we have a random number... | $9 to wish listMP4 (video)

Maurice KillFred DarevilMaurice Kill is a completely reimagined version of the classic effect Miraskill created by Stewart James (participant chooses red or black color and the mentalist has the other, cards are turned over two at a time making three piles. One will be the red pile if both cards are red. One will be the black pile if both are black. The last will be the discard pile if one is red and one is black. The result of the game is predicted in advance by the mentalist). Maurice Kill is a faster and more stunning version. Variations are offered to you. Three Rapid SpellersIan BaxterTo all magicians, amateur and professional - here is a loaded question: Have you ever been bored silly watching a magician perform a spelling trick? This is contentious and very obviously axiomatic. Quoting from the Preface of his new manuscript, Australian card man Ian Baxter comments: "Unfortunately, spelling effects in card magic hold the onerous title of being the most laborious, boring presentations imaginable." This is the point at issue - boredom setting in, thanks to the tedium of endless counting and spelling, usually propped up with trivial patter. Such effects are simply... | $9 to wish list
Wild Card VariationsSam DalalThe Wild Card effect has been one of my favorite packet effects from as far back as I can remember and is indisputably one of the best card packet effects of all time. Unfortunately, in its original form, it does not meet my concept of good magic. It does not answer the basic audience dilemma - "Why does he do it ?" I know transformations (anything that changes) are part of a magic effect, but there ought to be some reason for it. If a performer changes blank paper to currency notes, that's logical, it's something everyone in the audience would like to do. If he changes a silk to an egg,... | $9 to wish list |
