Andrew F. Rickis
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Andrew F. Rickis was a West Granby, Connecticut resident for 18 years. After living in the Florida Keys for 22 years, the author and his wife, Lucille, presently reside in the upstate of South Carolina. They have two children. An avid tennis player, the former printer also enjoys playing chess, growing bonsai plants and traveling the globe gathering material for his writing.
Andrew's eighth novel, The 1st Time, was recently published. Four of the previous seven novels have been best sellers. His writing career began at the University of Connecticut where he won awards for his writing. The Magic Oak, one of the author’s novels, has been endorsed by the Stuttering Foundation and nominated for the John Newbery Medal.
