Arthur P. Felsman

(3rd November 1888 - Park Forest, IL: 3rd April 1964) Arthur Felsman was a magician, author, manufacturer and magic dealer. In his teens, Arthur performed a comedy magic act with his brother, billed as “Felsman and Arthur.” Felsman bought out the stock of the August Roterberg mail order business in 1916-17, and continued to offer merchandise that was similar in appearance and construction to that made famous by Roterberg. From 1919-24, Arthur served as editor of Felsman’s Magical Review. He was also elected to serve as an officer of the Chicago Assembly of the Society of American Magicians. In 1930s ran the second travelling magic shop in the USA (One-Arm McDonald's was first.) In 1941 co-owned (with Harry Blackstone) the short-lived "Blackstone Magic Shop" in Oak Park, Illinois.
