Pen name from "Clip Board" of Warren K. Schoonmaker. Statistician in electronics and marketing. Amateur mentalist. Edited a club newsletter. Wrote The Borrowed Brain (1946); Mainly Mental (3 vols: 1947, 132pp; 1950, 132pp; 1999), a classic; and One-On-One Mentalism (1997, 106pp). Article in Vibrations, and several other magic magazines.
