Deborah L. Fruchey
Deborah Fruchey tried to write her first novel at the age of eight. Her first novel, The Unwilling Heiress (Walker Co., 1987) was chosen as a Best Book by the American Bookseller's Association. A Scandalous Creature was her second novel, after a hiatus of 20 years. Her nonfiction manual on mental illness, Is There Room For Me, Too? has been called 'the best book of its kind.' Most recently she has published her first collection of poetry, Armadillo (Cyborg Productions, 2014).
