Richard George "Dicky" Dean was inspired by and learned from Xmas gift of a Walter Gibson book at age 10. Chavez graduate of 1956. Teacher and semi-pro stage magician. Then, since 1974, a popular full-time pro in eastern Canada with assistant-wife Marg. Specialties: doves, cards, Zombie. Pet effect: Zombie.

Wrote The Dean Speaks (1969), Using Magic in Teaching (1975), and Magic (1975). Articles in Genii, New Tops, Linking Ring, and Pentagram. 6 TV shows on CBC.
