Imaginary Prediction by Maurice Janssen

Single number cards are introduced and mixed facedown. A volunteer freely selects a card, as does the performer. The selected cards are kept facedown, glanced at and then placed inside an opaque envelope. A prediction is introduced and set aside.

Next, you take the volunteer on an imaginary journey, where they imagine their digit as a monetary value. They deposit their money, it gains some interest, money is withdrawn, gambled at a casino and finally they purchase a coffee from their winnings on the way home. They purchase an item from a list with the money they have left. Keep in mind this is all done in their head.

The volunteer opens the prediction and it's that exact same item, as an added kicker they also open the opaque envelope and they two numbers match their money value left over.
