Stage name of John Albert Warton, aka "Wilton Warton, the Canadian Conjurer". Introduced to magic by Arthur "Amasis" Hartop. Pro variety stage magician of the old school. Specialized in working giant matchsticks. Played St. George's Hall in 1923. Wrote Tricks of a Trouper (1946, 69pp; repr 1968), a compilation of his tricks in Abracadabra.
