(Southampton, England: 3rd September 1919 - 19th March 2001)

Learned at age 12 from box of tricks. Company director of a stationery firm in Southampton. Amateur magician as "Jeffalo" 1936-42. Then semi-pro with an historical act, "Illusions of the Masters". Pet effect: Asrah Levitation. A stalwart of the British Ring, including British Ring Past President. IBM President 1977-78, only the 2nd Briton to hold that office. Wrote The Magic Kettle: Any Drink Called For (1972, 32pp). Articles in Linking Ring, Abra, and Magigram.
