Jim McKeague
Jim McKeague was born into a farming family of six in 1937. He was the second born with an older brother Frank (since deceased) a younger sister Irene and a younger brother Don. Early life for Jim was on the farm at Edungalba, Central Queensland, and from there the family moved to a dairy farm at Ravenshoe on the Atherton Tablelands in 1945.
Jim was always the entertainer and did magic tricks at the local Variety Shows in Ravenshoe and local district, and humorous skits with his friends. He loves people and can entertain anytime anywhere with something as simple as a rubber band. Over the years his expertise has grown and his great joy is to show budding entertainers how to use Magic in their lives.
He is currently married to the love of his life, Gwen, and lives in Ravenshoe where he has discovered the joys of computing: he can access websites for magicians and can email all his friends. He is retired and enjoying life doing all the things he has dreamed of doing. One trip has taken him to Egypt to the site of Beni Hassan where is painted on a wall an entertainer seemingly doing the Cup and Balls trick*. Seems that magic entertainment is timeless.
