Learned in grade school from older brother Harry. Pro illusion designer, mainly to Doug Henning (since 1981). Also magic consultant to Orson Welles (5 years) and "Blacke's Magic" TV series (1986). Illusion designer for Copperfield, Blackstone Jr., Orson Welles, Paul Daniels, Siegfried and Roy, and The Pendragons. 1986 AMA Award of Merit. Designer and consultant for Disney since 1986. In 1989 co-produced a CBS-TV special and the British TV Channel 4 "The Secret Cabinet" mini-series". AIMC 1990. 1991 AMA Creative Fellowship. 1996 Christopher Award for illusion design.

Prolific inventor of illusions (nearly 40 for Henning alone), including Magic Elevator (1976), Walking through a Mirror (1976), Miracle Levitation (1984), Backstage with a Cane Cabinet (1984), The Little Doll's House (1986), Pole Levitation (1986), Knot Unexpected (1986), and Interlude (1990).
